Rangeway Energy - Field Notes #4

Hey Pathfinders,

Three exciting updates from Rangeway HQ this month:

Announcing Theo Reichgelt as our Fractional CMO

Theo Reichgelt is the founder and CEO of Nexxt Industry, Europe's leading eMobility marketing agency. For nearly a decade, he's been the go-to strategist for major CPOs like Allego, helping them scale their brands across two continents. He knows how to build charging networks that people actually want to use, not just infrastructure that exists on a map.

He also hosts The eMobility Marketing Podcast, one of the most respected voices in the EV charging industry. If you're not already listening, add it to your rotation. The depth of insight he brings from working with CPOs across eight European markets is exactly what we need as we build Rangeway for the North American market.

What makes Theo perfect for Rangeway? He gets that we're not building a utility, we're building a hospitality brand that happens to include charging. His philosophy of "turning strategy into momentum" is exactly what we need as we move from planning to construction. And his track record of launching networks that stand out in crowded markets means we're learning from someone who's already done what we're about to do.

Theo's joining us at the perfect moment. We're shifting from strategy to execution, and having someone who's guided multiple charging networks through this exact phase is invaluable. This is a major step forward for Rangeway.

Welcome to the team, Theo!

The Trail Marker Podcast is live.

Our podcast about building Rangeway from the ground up is now available!

It's the real story - wins, setbacks, lessons learned in real time. Some episodes are storytelling (route exploration, what makes a stop worth the drive). Some are tactical CPO deep-dives (vendor selection, site economics, solving the problems other networks ignore). And some are founder diary entries (fundraising, hiring, the messy middle that nobody talks about).

Episode 1 is already up: the story of how a dead charger in Alamo, Nevada sparked AmpIQ and eventually led to Rangeway Energy. It's about recognizing an opportunity that everyone else walked past, and understanding that fixing broken infrastructure in overlooked corridors is exactly where the real opportunity lies.

If you've been following along with what we're building, you'll want to subscribe. New episodes drop every two weeks.

We're now actively seeking investors!

After months of intensive work with our team, we now have a complete financial model that proves the hub-satellite approach works at scale.

This milestone means we can now have serious conversations with VCs, angel investors, and infrastructure funds. We're pursuing our Pre-Seed round to bring our first regional hub cluster to life: one flagship Basecamp hub and two Waystation satellites. This capital funds site control, permitting and entitlements, engineering design, utility coordination, and building our core operational team.

If you know someone who invests in infrastructure, transportation, hospitality, or just believes that EV charging should be an experience worth having, not something you endure, we'd love an introduction!

We're also still considering a crowdfunding round for our community to participate directly in building Rangeway. If you're interested in learning more about investing in Rangeway, visit invest.rangeway.energy to stay updated on our community investment opportunities.

More updates soon on the sites and routes ahead.
